Faithful to manual: hydraulics work only with the engine running and the safety-lock lever released. Lock the lever before mounting / dismounting.

START PROCEDURE

Safety-lock lever → LOCKED
Throttle → high (idle ok)
Key → CONTACT
Key → START (engine runs)
Lock lever → RELEASED to operate
